Come and watch films about the internet on May 18!

wanted to watch films about the internet with others so i did something about it!!!

i am part of a co-op called ‘post-office’ operating out of hoofdweg 403, amsterdam. as a member, i get the opportunity to use the space to organise events (among other things). my idea was to set up a screening programme showing films about the internet. i set up an open call, so anyone who wanted to could show their stuff. no funding, no tickets, all voluntary and for the love of the internet. the response was amazing. over 100 people sent their films. i realised that it may then be a good idea to set up multiple screenings, to show everyone’s work eventually. this is the first iteration of the screening.
